My family loves Halloween! We enjoy decorating inside and out in the yard. The festive feel is not only appreciated by us but by our neighbors too. Plus, the joy on the faces of Trick O’ Treaters when they come to the door and peek inside.
Tips, cover pillows in black spiderweb lace. Use loads of white webbing in the yard. I place some inside too. Try to find large, oversized items that can be stand-alone items. For example, I love the Halloween sign that can hang on the wall as shown below, or can be a yard sign. The black tinsel pop-up trees in both the 6′ and the 24″ tabletop versions were fun. How about those glow-face witches? I had a set in our planters outdoors, a set in the yard, and a set inside just below the Halloween-lit sign. Of course, every lit Halloween decor piece I had collected over the years, mostly from HSN, was displayed on side tables and accent tables. The mercury glass pumpkins were from HSN but were also available at Plow and Hearth. All made for a not-so-scary Halloween indeed.
