For seven years, I have been blessed to share Christmas in July with you LIVE from HSN. As in, from the HSN Studios.
This year, a most unusual year due to COVID-19, we had to produce Christmas in July from my home. From what I have named, #BakerHomeStudios for Skype broadcast to HSN. Truly, it was a family affair. Hubby, our teenage daughter, as well as our dog, knew they were banned from the living & dining rooms (aka, Studios A & B) for a week prior to the big event, which was scheduled for Monday and Tuesday, July 6th & 7th. The most-helpful husband, Troy, was stage manager, lighting director, and cameraman. I was sets stylist, props teams, stage coordinator, hair and makeup artist, and, finally, on-air guest. YOWZER! All of the products were mailed directly to our home, many arriving a couple of days prior or an hour or two prior to show time – many from China! OMG!
