Summer Floral Arrangement

Just a few weeks ago, I made a lovely Summer Floral Arrangement for my Mother In Law’s Birthday Luncheon. 

To make the arrangement, I clipped a palm frond from our front yard, and wrapped it inside a clear glass cylinder. Next, insert the wet floral foam with additional water. You want to keep the foam saturated in water. Add your flowers. I used pale yellow roses and white hydrangeas. Wine Tasting Themed Birthday Party

Last Fall, I hosted a Wine Tasting themed party celebrating the Birthdays of three girlfriends. I chose to serve several antipasto trays, charcuterie boards, and a platter of sushi. An odd mix, I know. But WOW, my friends LOVED it! So yummy! So pretty!  My friend, Deanna, Wine Sommelier, with a major spirits company, was gracious and took the time to share with us how to select champagne, sparkling wines and a pinot noir that almost anyone would adore. Remember, keep it REAL, as in flowers, plates, glasses. Salut!

A Beautiful Baby Shower

In recent years, I’ve noticed the Gender Reveal & Coed Baby Showers. How can you miss them? They are all over social media! Back in the day, you hosted a simple, beautiful Baby Shower for your loved-ones, though I do look forward to someday hosting a Gender Reveal and will really have to brainstorm a most-creative way to reveal the gender!! Until then, take a look at a Beautiful Baby Shower I hosted for my sister seven years ago YOWZER! Can’t believe it was that long ago, but I do remember it being a big hit!

A Southern Lady’s Birthday Lunch

Don’t you just love to entertain and throw a loved-one a party? A few years ago I co-hosted a Birthday lunch for one of my girlfriends, Liz, who’s a real Southern Lady from Kentucky. My girlfriends and I wanted to spoil our sweet friend so we all came together and helped create a great party! Try hosting at home instead of a restaurant every now and then. Takes a little planning and effort, but its oh so worth it!
