I’m a big believer in living an elevated lifestyle. Not a stuffy, hard-to-replicate lifestyle, but one executed with ease. For example, once a month or once a quarter, I get together with both my sister and cousin for a Girls Night In. We eat, drink, laugh, talk. It’s lovely really. However, we all work, have kids and husbands and demanding schedules. So how do I pull it off effortlessly? In January of this year when we last gathered in my home, my sister brought the rotisserie chicken and salad greens, my cousin brought the wine, I bought a pound cake, sliced, poured warm berries (warmed in microwave) and added whipped cream. I used my bridal china. I used lovely stemware. I already had fresh flowers on the table. When the ladies walked in, they were so happy! Everything was beautiful and everyone felt so good! Entertaining is easy when you have the basics available to use – cloth napkins, your china/real plates, flatware, glasses/stemware, tablecloths. Take it up a notch-effortlessly. Elevate!
